Things have been a bit quiet lately and while I never want to make excuses for myself – there are some valid reasons.

Firstly - I broke my rib the other week during a particularly tough Randori session at Mold Judo Club. While this has absolutely no bearing on my fingers and ability to think, the days of self-pity did! Being injured is a tough time for anyone, especially when it brings a complete stop to most training.

Secondly – I have had to finish my research proposal which was a lot tougher then I first anticipated. This took up most of my time and in fact the broken rib did help out in this instance as I had more time (i.e. not training) to spend putting together my ethics etc.

Thirdly – and by no means least…. I get married a week Saturday and any man who has been through this will understand the onslaught that can follow if you in anyway make out it’s not the ultimate priority in your life, Bridezilla I assure you lives in all women. And as I tweeted the other day, she has to come before BJJ/Judo at least once – ONLY once though ;)

Joking aside I have been doing a few little things in the background, I managed to get my own domain and I have received a product from Blitz which I am in the process of reviewing. Once that is done I will put up a link to the website that publishes it – please follow the link and read. Your support is always appreciated.

Anyway for now, keep rolling/learning and I will be back in a few weeks. A new man I am assured, oosss
